Shipping & Processing Policy
Effective Date: 2/17/2023
EzyTint provides administrative and documentation services for New York window tint medical exemptions. While we do not ship physical retail products, certain documents must be mailed to the New York DMV Medical Review Unit, and processing time is required for document preparation. This policy outlines how our processing and mailing procedures work.
1. Processing Time
Processing begins once:
Payment is received
All required client information is submitted
All necessary documentation has been provided
Standard processing time for preparing your exemption documents is:
3–7 business days, depending on workload and client responsiveness.
Processing may be delayed if:
Information provided is incomplete or inaccurate
The client does not respond promptly
Additional documentation or clarification is needed
Medical provider availability is limited
EzyTint is not responsible for delays caused by the client or by third-party providers.
2. Mailing of Medical Documentation
Certain documents—such as the medical provider’s signed form and their official medical license certificate—must be physically mailed to the DMV Medical Review Unit.
EzyTint handles:

Properly packaging and mailing the documents
Ensuring all required materials are included
3. Mail Carrier and Delivery Times
All documents submitted to the DMV are mailed using:

Typical USPS delivery time is:
3–10 business days, but may vary.
EzyTint is not responsible for:
Postal delays
Lost or misplaced mail once in the possession of USPS
DMV intake processing times
DMV backlog or internal delays
Once the package is mailed, USPS becomes responsible for delivery.
4. Tracking Information
If available, EzyTint will provide tracking information for the document packet submitted to the DMV.
Tracking may not be available for all submission types based on DMV requirements.
Clients may request tracking at the time of service for transparency and peace of mind.
5. DMV Processing Times
After documents arrive at the DMV Medical Review Unit:
Review times are completely controlled by the DMV
Approval, denial, or requests for additional information may take several weeks
State processing times vary according to volume and staffing
EzyTint has no influence over DMV timeframes or decisions.
6. Resubmission Processing
If a submission is denied:
EzyTint will prepare a revised packet
Updated medical reasoning and documentation will be included
A new medical provider will be used when appropriate
EzyTint will mail the resubmission on your behalf

7. Additional Attempts Beyond Three
After three (3) full attempts:
Clients may choose to continue
Extra submissions will be processed for $20 per attempt
Mailing and preparation remain included
Updated medical documentation will be acquired when needed
Although clients may choose more attempts, it is important to note:
